Any professional tips for installing this oil filter?

Yes, two simple steps for a perfect install:

Pre-lubricate: Apply a thin layer of clean engine oil to the rubber gasket. This prevents the rubber from sticking and makes the next filter change much easier.

Hand-tighten only: Once the gasket makes contact with the base, hand-tighten it firmly (usually about 3/4 of a turn). Do not use a wrench to overtighten, as this can crack the seal or damage the filter housing.
